Climate Change Impact: Lost Glacier of Iceland

At The Nest Summit we discussed the implications of climate change with Oddur Sigurðsson who is the geologist at the Icelandic Meteorological Office. Oddur founded a beautiful glacier and studied how it has been diminishing, now not even classified as a glacier and dead ice in 2014. Known to most school kids in Iceland, this particular glacier disappearing was shocking for many who grew up there. The carbon dioxide issue is the main issue that causes global warming in the atmosphere and resulted in this permanent loss.
